The graphics card is the heart of it
You can play many PC games on low settings on just about any computer being released today. What will really hold you back, in most cases, is the graphics card. To play PC games well, you’ll want dedicated NVIDIA or AMD graphics hardware rather than integrated graphics. Other components, like CPU and RAM, are also important.
It does not matter if you’re building a modest gaming rig or a 4K titan — choosing the right card is paramount for your gaming experience. We supply and fit from the modest to the monster. Just ask and we will advise.
Cooling, done properly
All-in-one liquid CPU coolers give cooling that is far superior to a stock air cooler, and a self-contained design gets you up and running quickly — less time assembling, filling and maintaining a cooling loop, more time enjoying the performance of your processor. Where a build does not need liquid, a well-chosen air cooler is quieter and cheaper, and we will say so.
Why buy a custom machine?
PC gaming is all about personal choice — input devices, hardware, storefronts, even user-created content. A console gives everyone the same box for the same price, which lets developers optimise for one target, but it also means everyone is stuck with the same hardware for the life of the generation.
A custom build is specified around what you actually play and what you actually want to spend, and it can be upgraded a piece at a time rather than replaced.
